Board of Governors Distinguished Professor of Law Roger Clark will lead a 3.7-mile run around Cooper River for alumni and current students. Participants and spectators should meet at the Camden County Boat House. To register or for more information, email mccuen@camden.rutgers.edu.
All proceeds from the game will be donated to the Rutgers–Camden soccer program. Commemorative t-shirts will be given to all participants. (Dorm rooms and showers will be available for alumni soccer participants to change for later Reunion 2009 Events).
You are a Golden Raptor if you graduated from Rutgers–Camden in the ‘30s, ‘40s, or ‘50s. This year we honor the class of 1959 in particular and invite all classes of the ‘50s and before to celebrate with them. One of our goals for this year's Reunion on the River is to have as many alumni as possible in attendance and that includes you! With your participation, the 50th Reunion of the Class of 1959 with the Golden Raptors will prove an outstanding success.
The Golden Raptors and all members of the ‘50s are invited to attend the Golden Raptors Luncheon in the new Dining Hall. A special schedule has been developed for the Golden Raptors starting with a Private Executive Shuttle Tour. For further information contact Suzanne Schaffer.
The Alumni Association, in conjunction with the Department of Fine Arts, has established the Reunion tradition of presenting an exhibition of works by Rutgers–Camden alumni and graduating seniors.
We invite graduates in all areas to submit work for this event. Those who are in theatre and music are welcome to participate as well. With the assistance of the Rutgers–Camden Center for the Arts, the artists’ works will be showcased in the Stedman Gallery. To participate in the exhibition or for additional information, contact Ken Hohing.
The initial list of participants is being compiled and will be available by March 15. If you are a Rutgers–Camden graduate and have works that have been published, please contact the Alumni Relations office.
Dr. Jon’a Meyer, the Alumni Association’s “official” resident historian, has selected and organized items from her extensive Rutgers–Camden history collection, including some never-before shown, for these wonderful exhibits. Additionally, she will have displays of those organizations who are celebrating special anniversaries at the Reunion.
Since 2000, several buildings have been thoroughly renovated on Cooper Street with the backyards converted to lawns, expanding of the greening of the campus. The Chancellor’s Office and the Gateway project on Fourth Street are two areas of completed and future distinction. Join us to see how the campus area has changed since your graduation.
The narration of the tours by professionally trained alumni will be the highlight of the tours.
This year we honor the class of 1969, celebrating their 40th year as Rutgers graduates -- but all classes of the ‘60s and before are invited to this special reception in the Campus Center.
If you graduated in the 1960s, check the box in the Registration Form and enjoy the party. For more information, contact Suzanne Schaffer.

Martini and Cosmo Bar…Wine and Beer Tasting
Music provided by the “Constantine Trio Minus One,” John and Lore Constantine ’72
The Grille
Join with all Rutgers–Camden sororities and fraternities at a wine and beer tasting or enjoy martinis and cosmos at the original Grille bar, painstakingly and lovingly rebuilt.
Original bartenders, waitresses, the Pong game, bowling shuffle board, the back room as well as the jukebox tunes of the decades…have your picture taken at the bar you frequented between classes…and many times during …
The Tavern
Take a trip back in time to The Tavern, complete with the original bar.
You may remember this space as a pizza place, a movie “theater” or an office, but students of a certain age remember it as The Tavern, a fun place to hangout (or hide out) in the days when a tall cold one after class was just a few steps away.

Once again the Graduating Seniors are invited to the Reunion on the River festivities. Graduating in May? Or perhaps you graduated last December? Congratulations! Enjoy your first (but hopefully not your last) taste of the infamous Rutgers–Camden Reunion on the River. Our special “New Graduates – New Alumni” tent will be next to the Main Tent (pretty cool, huh?) in front of the Campus Center and will be stocked with special food, drinks, and other fun stuff for all of you.
The Class of 2009 Tent is proudly sponsored by the Division of Student Affairs and the Office of Alumni Relations.

This is the fifth year of the “Generation to Generation” art exhibition organized by the Alumni Association, in conjunction with the Department of Fine Arts, which has established the Reunion tradition of presenting an exhibition of works by Rutgers–Camden alumni and graduating seniors.
More than 58 Rutgers–Camden graduates working in all forms of media have submitted work for this event in which both established and emerging artists are highlighted. With the assistance of the Rutgers–Camden Center for the Arts, the artists’ works will be showcased in the Stedman Gallery.
The exhibit will open at 3 p.m. and host the Artists Champagne Reception in the gallery at 5 p.m. Click here for list of artists.
UNIVERSITY COLLEGE-CAMDEN (UCC) RECEPTION
UCC Alumni gather for the first-ever UCC Reunion. The year 2009 marks the beginning of the UCC’s 60th anniversary. Alumni from all decades, including new millennium grads, are invited to renew old friendships and share memories of the UCC you knew and loved. Hosted by Associate Dean Chris Dougherty, Associate Dean Marie Cornelia (retired), Prof. Geoff Sill and Prof. Bill Tucker.
The Perimeter, which opened in 1968, went on to become the longest-running coffeehouse in the Delaware Valley. With its black painted walls and cast-off furnishings, it was the place to be on Friday night. Many of the area’s best musicians played there, including Walter Trout, now a world-renowned blues guitarist. It was also an official student organization, and many people contributed to its success. Come and meet your old Perimeter friends and favorite Perimeter musicians.
DEANS RECEPTION
Hosted by Rayman Solomon, Acting Executive Dean for the Professional Schools (Schools of Law and Business), and Michael Palis, Interim Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. All graduates are invited to attend.
