Through their volunteer efforts, our Alumni Ambassadors
take their Rutgers-Camden Experience to the Campus and the Communities
in which they now live and work.
Ambassadors assist with the following:
Admitted Student activities, Campus Activities, Undergraduate Activities,
Campus Speakers Bureau, Career Mentoring
BECOME AN ALUMNI AMBASSADOR FOR RUTGERS-CAMDEN
The mission and goals of the Rutgers-Camden Alumni Ambassadors Program
can only be achieved with a network of alumni volunteers in specific geographic areas.
Our ambassadors program is designed to assist several units of the Campus
in
developing
a complete network of Rutgers-Camden communication and information throughout the region.
Enthusiastic alumni are the key to not only identifying and maintaining communication with prospective students, maintaining the alumni presence on campus but providing a link to Rutgers-Camden.
Specific resources and information will be available for all ambassadors.
Ambassadors will have total flexibility about their level of involvement in the program
by choosing activities which fit their interest and time constraints.
The initial primary role of an ambassador would be up to the alumni ambassador.
There are several areas of assistance requested and our alumni are asked
to select which areas they feel qualified to participate.
Please complete the Alumni Update form and pay specific
attention to the second section for alumni ambassadors.
When the ambassador form is submitted the alumni office
will call you to talk about the program, some details,
your areas of interest and time.

AREAS FOR ALUMNI AMBASSADOR INVOLVEMENT
Alumni Speakers Bureau in conjunction with the Campus Speakers Bureau
The Rutgers University -- Camden Alumni Speakers Bureau is a cross section of alumni
that are available to speak to your organization on a wide variety of subjects
that include
the social sciences, global issues, health, law, physical sciences, public policy, technology and much more.
Rutgers-Camden Alumni Speakers would share their insights during your lecture series,
workshops, and public dialogues and panels while promoting Rutgers University.
The speakers are a part of the Rutgers University--Camden Speakers Bureau.
Alumni Admissions Ambassadors
Rutgers-Camden Admission Ambassadors would help our Admissions officers to advise students on becoming potential Rutgers students.Admissions Ambassadors will possibly attend admission events; be able to communicate with admitted students and speak on the qualities of Rutgers University-Camden; participate as speakers on behalf of the campus, and attend open houses both on and off campus.
Alumni Career Network and Mentoring
Rutgers-Camden Career Network and Mentoring Ambassadors will work with graduates from Rutgers--Camden to mentor and share their experiences with current students and other alumni. Our Ambassadors will contact current students and alumni to help with advice and career planning through the Career Center on Campus.
Undergraduate and Campus Activities
Rutgers-Camden Undergraduate Activities Ambassadors will work with various clubs and groups to be present at undergraduate activities and to help with those activities. Our Activities Ambassadors will meet with and on occasion attend these undergraduate activities to network with current students to offer advice and their knowledge to current Rutgers University undergraduate students.
Rutgers-Camden Activities Ambassadors will work with the various departments and alumni relations to promote Alumni Campus activities. Rutgers-Camden Activities Ambassadors will be invited to attend various campus events, including open houses, Reunion and meetings to promote their Rutgers University experience. Rutgers-Camden Activities Ambassadors may be called upon to help increase attendance at these events. |
