Pre-Opera Dinner with Julianne Baird

The Rutgers-Camden Alumni Relations office is pleased to present its annual Alumni Night at the Opera event! 

The evening will feature an exclusive presentation and early dinner prior to the performance.  We will meet on campus at 4:30 pm and ride the Rutgers shuttle to the Vesper Club, one of the nation’s most exclusive private clubs. Rutgers-Camden professor and noted soprano Dr. Julianne Baird will provide a special overview of the opera. After dinner, we will proceed to the beautiful Academy of Music for a performance of Rossini’s “The Italian Girl in Algiers” an Opera Co. of Philadelphia premier.

Ticket Price:
  • Parquet Seating: $142.00
  • Family Circle Seating: $104.00
Cost includes:
Dinner, Opera performance,
and Shuttle transportation between
campus and the restaurant/Academy of Music.


Additional Information:
Parking will be available on campus with the specific lot indicated on your event confirmation.
For those taking the shuttle, please arrive no later than 4:15 pm.
For those meeting at the Vesper Club, please arrive by 5:00 pm and proceed
to the private dining room on the second floor.

*For opera performance only, please subtract $42 from the cost.
